About Amanda Biddle

My name is Amanda Biddle. I am a Fifth Grade Math Teacher at Kountze Intermediate School. I began teaching for Kountze ISD in 1998. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and I have completed coursework towards a Masters degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

I have been listed in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" on two occasions and I was selected as a "BASF & KBTV Golden Apple Teacher" in Southeast Texas. These awards have touched my heart because former students made the nominations. I have also had the honor of being nominated for PAEMST, Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

I am also very involved with Technology. I have been a campus facilitator for the Brazos Sabine TIE Consortium, where classroom teachers learn computer skills and knowledge through a course of mini workshops presented on our own campus.

My husband, David and I were married in December of 1997. He is the Principal of Alternative Education Programs for SIlsbee ISD. We have a home in Silsbee that we share with our son, Beau, and our dogs, Roxi and Emmy. If you would like to contact me via e-mail, you may do so by clicking on the e-mail link on the left of this page. Thank you for visiting my website.
